Nestled on top of Queen Elizabeth Park overlooking the city of Vancouver, Seasons in the Park is a beautiful spot for wine tastings.
On April 9, 2013, the restaurant hosted Mission Hill Family Estate Winery for a wine tasting and pairing event. With winery representative Leslie Brown speaking highly on the Okanagan Valley and BC wine, walked us through the Mission Hill flight, which were paired with delicious small plates.
Here is what we enjoyed:
Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Gris paired with smoked salmon and lobster ravioli
Mission Hill Reserve Chardonnay paired with seared scallop, edamame puree and prosciutto crisp
Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Noir paired with crispy duck taco, hoisin tamarind sauce
Mission Hill Reserve Merlot paired with lamp lollipop, eggplant caponata and minted gremolata
