Celebrate the Olympics at Edible Canada House
Want to go back in time to one of the most memorable and enjoyable years in Vancouver History, the 2010 Winter Olympics? Bring out those red mittens and your Canada Olympic gear because this weekend at Edible Canada underneath Granville Island, is set to open and will be the biggest Olympic party in the city!
Winterruption Festival, which runs from February 14-16 will feature Edible Canada House, which will be home to live music and 3 giant projection screens running live and pre-recorded Olympic events. There will be several food stations with Canadian inspired meals including bison chili, Alberta beef brisket, maple flapjacks, cheesy perogies and more. And we all know it wouldn’t be a Canadian party without some delicious beverages- only the best will be featuring at Edible Canada House including beer from Granville Island Brewing, local wine from Sumac Ridge and of course, a “Garnish your own” Caesar Bar. I can almost guarantee that into the late evening/early morning Canada House will break out in chants singing “Oh Canada”.
