Okanagan Falls Party in the Park!

This past Friday, we were invited to the 3rd Annual Party in the Party hosted by the wineries of the Okanagan Falls Winery Association. Taking place on the shores of Skaha Lake at Kenyon Park, all 12 award-winning wineries poured their new releases to guests. One of the best things about this event, was that behind almost every tasting table was an owner and/or winemaker. I love interacting with the people behind the wines because they are so passionate about their product and love to tell stories about the wine.

Then, The Chef in Stead prepared authentic Southern-style BBQ dinner for everyone to enjoy, followed by barefoot dancing in the Park with local minstrels Uncorked. With the unique setting, wine tasting, buffet dinner and live music, we loved every aspect of the event, and can’t wait until next year!

Here were some of the highlights:

Trying BRAND NEW Rose by Painted Rock

Buffet BBQ dinner by The Chef Instead

Live music from local minstrels Uncorked
3 Generations of winemaking at Wild Goose Vineyards
The night ended with some barefoot dancing in the Park
