World’s First-ever performance of synchronized swimming at a winery during the “Midsummer Night’s Dream” event at Black Hills Estate Winery in Oliver.
What could be better than sipping on a glass of Nota Bene, enjoying the chill- lounge vibe of a hip DJ, tasting the BBQ cuisine of Bogner’s restaurant, admiring the beautiful sunset and watching an amazing display of water ballet right in the middle of a vineyard setting? Well on Saturday August 16th this will all be coming down as the Black Hills winery will be converted into a Miami-style Vineyard Ultralounge for an event called “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Showcasing the event will be the water ballet talents of internationally acclaimed artists “The Aqualillies”.
“The Aqualillies have performed in videos for Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake as well as at leading edge entertainment and corporate events around the world”, says Glenn Fawcett, President of Black Hills Estate Winery. “Now for the first time ever, they will be performing at a winery. They will bring a glamorous and visually attractive element to our first-ever Midsummer Night’s dream party. This evening will be a very lively and fun party for those who love great wine, delicious food, wonderful music and an upbeat party vibe” says Fawcett. The BBQ Cuisine for the evening will be provided by the popular Bogner’s of Penticton. The music for the evening will come courtesy of the discs being spun by Guest DJ Captain K, Belgium. Wine Tastings will be hosted by famed Wine educator, Michael Biggatini, who will showcase his renowned, witty “wine banter” for guests to enjoy.
The event takes place on Saturday Aug. 16th from 6 to 10 pm at the Wine Experience Center at Black Hills Estate Winery.
