Le Vieux Pin Wines Added to Michelin Restaurant Lists

The Okanagan’s Le Vieux Pin is celebrating recent and ongoing inclusion on the wine lists of several international Michelin starred restaurants including the following:

* The Table Kevin Fehling (Germany)Kevin Fehling is the youngest European 3 Michelin starred chef ever
o 2009 and 2010 Le Vieux Pin Syrah (Cuvee Classique)
* Hakkasan (London)
o 2013 Le Vieux Pin Syrah Cuvee Violette
o 2010 Le Vieux Pin Syrah (Cuvee Classique)
* Yauatcha (London)
o 2013 Le Vieux Pin Syrah Cuvee Violette
o 2010 Le Vieux Pin Syrah (Cuvee Classique)
o 2013 Le Vieux Pin Syrah Cuvee Violette
o 2010 Le Vieux Pin Syrah (Cuvee Classique)
Being included on these lists is no small achievement. These restaurants can stock their cellars with wines from anywhere in the world, regardless of price. Many European culinary meccas have been carrying Le Vieux Pin wines for at least four consecutive vintages.
Le Vieux Pin’s appearance on these exclusive lists is particularly meaningful because it indicates that the winery is recognized for crafting truly exceptional wines by those holding the highest standards. Established only ten years ago, Le Vieux Pin is a relative newcomer, and the winery hails from a lesser-known region compared to many of its peers from winemaking regions that have been famed for centuries.
Of special note, London’s Hakkasan’s wine buyer and well known wine personality, Christine Parkinson, was so impressed by Le Vieux Pin wines that she purchased a case of Syrah Cuvee Violette for her personal cellar.
