2023 Easter Winery Activity Guide

The Easter bunny is hopping its way across vineyards this season. Easter is happening on Sunday, April 9 and there are lots of local wineries are hosting special events to celebrate. From children easter egg hunts in the vineyard, to adult easter egg hunts for real treats, easter brunch and tasting flights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Below is the Easter Winery Activity Guide that lists all the easter-themed events happening across wine country this season.

Okanagan Valley Wine Region:

Meadow Vista Honey Wine | Easter weekend paired wine flights

  • When: April 7-10, 11am-5pm
  • Where: 3975 June Springs Rd, Kelowna
  • What: Relax on our Patio and picnic area with your Wine Flight Paired with local sweet pairings. Enjoy a Complimentary Lavender Lemonade Cocktail, enter to win a prize basket and egg draw prize! Afterwards tour the farm and take our self-guided bee tour!

District Wine Village | Easter weekend at the wine village

Grizzli Winery | Easter in the Vineyard with Egg-stra indoor activities

  • When: April 8, 12pm-4pm
  • Where: 2550 Boucherie Road West Kelowna
  • What: easter eggs, wine, indoor games, and family friendly activities including balloon twisting, a scavenger hunt and egg decorating. RSVP and bring your own basket.

Priest Creek | Wine tasting easter egg hunt

  • When: April 8 and 9, 12pm-5pm
  • Where:2555 Saucier Road, Kelowna
  • What: an easter egg hunt but with wine! Fine easter eggs in the vineyard and enter to win prizes.

Hillside Winery | Easter dinner for two

  • When: Pickup April 8 or 9, 10:30am-2pm
  • Where: 1350 Naramata Road, Penticton
  • What: Chef Evan has put together an amazing Easter Dinner kit for you to enjoy, without all the prep work. Complete with a bottle of 2019 Pinot Noir. Available for preorder now until April 5.

Nostalgia Wines | Adult Easter Egg Hunt

  • When: April 8, 1pm-4pm
  • Where: 398 Lupine Lane, Oliver
  • What: Break out of your shell for an egg-cellent afternoon of hunting through the Nostalgia vineyard with some-bunny special. We have curated an afternoon of clues, prizes, hidden wine samples, challenges, games, and Easter eggs that are simply to dye for! The hunt finishes with a cheese and charcuterie social and a tasting of new Nostalgia Wines releases. The Easter egg-sperts with the most points will be announced and will take home an egg-ceptional grand prize!

Covert Farms | Easter fun at the farm

  • When: April 8-9, 11am-5pm
  • Where: 300 Covert Pl, Oliver
  • What: Come join us for a fun weekend on the farm: wine tasting, charcuterie, on the hour complimentary tour

  • When: April 8-9, 10:30am and 11am
  • Where: 2575 Green Lake Rd, Okanagan Falls
  • What: Easter brunch

Phantom Creek | Children’s easter egg hunt

  • When: April 9, 10am-11am
  • Where: 4315 Black Sage Rd, Oliver
  • What: Bring the little ones to the Estate for a festive morning of egg hunts, treasure-finding, and more on the property. Parents are invited to join us in our expansive Tasting Room for ‘Hoppy Hour’! Sip & enjoy special pricing on our select Easter weekend wines by the glass and enjoy the beautiful South Okanagan vista.

Phantom Creek | Easter Celebration brunch

  • When: April 9, 11:30am-4:30pm
  • Where: 4315 Black Sage Rd, Oliver
  • What: This festive and delicious three-course family-style meal includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. After a bright spring salad, guests can choose from mains that include roasted lamb saddle with oyster mushrooms and polenta; or a spring risotto with fava beans, peas, grana padano, and pea shoots. Kids can opt for rigatoni, and for dessert, there’s Easter carrot cake with white chocolate ganache, candied ginger, walnut sable, carrot agro dolce, and vanilla ice cream. Township 7 | Naramata adult easter egg hunt in the vines

  • When: April 9, 11am-4pm
  • Where: 1450 McMillan Ave, Penticton
  • What: Your ticket includes a glass of Township 7’s premium wine while you collect up to 5 corks or eggs for instant prizes. The Grand prize draws include a Sabering Experience for two and an Elevated Tasting and Tour for two.   Event is rain or shine.

District Wine Village | Easter weekend at the wine village

  • When: April 9, from 1pm-4pm
  • Where: 100 Enterprise Way, Oliver, BC
  • What: Live music with Kristi Neumann – 1pm -3pm and an Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm.
    Eggs will be hidden around the village for the kids to find! (while supplies lasts)

Fraser Valley Wine Region

Cannon Winery | Abbotsford

  • When: April 8, 12-5pm
  • Where: 30523 Burgess Ave, Abbotsford, BC 
  • What: Food truck, face painting, easter bunny, egg hunt, live music, $15 flights *or complimentary with the BC Wine Passport!

Township 7 | Langley children + adult easter egg hunt

  • When: April 9, 12pm- 4pm
  • Where: 21152 16 Ave, Langley Twp
  • What: Parents can enjoy our award-winning wines while the children participate in the Easter Egg Hunt in the vineyard and enjoy activities such as Glitter Tattoos, petting zoo by 4H club, and more. Adults can join us in the afternoon for an Adults’ Easter Egg Hunt with live music and prizes, including a grand prize worth over $500.
