  Covert Farms Family Estate Winery

  • The large, 600 acre organic farm and country market features a wine shop
  • Winery is located right on the farm which is nestled at the foot of McIntyre Bluff and is the perfect place to bring your kids- they have a kids playground
  • Wines are organic and 100% estate grown
  • Allow time to pick your own produce straight from the farm- there are over 40 different crops to try or pick from the market

  Culmina Family Estate Winery

  • Carefully crafted wines, including new releases of Unicus (Grüner Veltliner), Decora (Riesling), and Saignée (Rosé).
  • All Summer offerings at Culmina involve an in-depth seated tasting. Drop-ins to Reserve Tastings are welcome at regularly scheduled tasting times, but guests are recommended to make an appointment to avoid disappointment upon arrival.
  • Culmina’s Vineyard & Winery Tour provides an in-depth, personal view of the Triggs’ family estate, starting with an explanation of Culmina’s viticultural philosophy in one of the Cabernet Franc blocks, followed by a complete walk-through of the winery to showcase the artistry and technology employed, and finished with a structured, sit-down tasting in the winery’s VIP room overlooking the Fermentation Hall.

  • Owners and brothers Sant and Gurbachan Gill come from a lifestyle of farming and agriculture passed onto them from generation to generation

 Hester Creek Estate Winery

  • Check the website for details on cooking classes- at the winery, which is our favourite thing to do when we’re in the area
  • Massive picnic area with over 16 tables overlooking Oliver Valley with a great chance of catching a local band play live
  • Pick up a bottle (or 6) of their unique Cabernet Franc Rose

 Hidden Chapel Winery

  • Through the woods near the winery stands a little white chapel- complete with small pews, an alter and stain-glass windows
  • Small, boutique winery with very cool wine labels including White Wedding, the Flying Nun, Shotgun Wedding, and Nuns on the Run
  • Have an underground wine cellar built into the hillside

  • The opening of this winery was an intersection of lifestyle, quality experiences, great food and friends

 Jackson-Triggs Okanagan Estate

  • Canada’s most awarded winery and has been named “Best Canadian Winery”
  • Name is a blend of founders names- Allan Jackson and Don Triggs who established the winery in 1993
